This feature allows you to customize Medal’s recording behavior per game, including turning it off entirely. Run any game, hit “Create New Presets” and Medal will save your currently selected clipping settings specifically for that game.

After you’ve saved your preset, you can go to our newly designed settings page and add more, or customize them. You can customize everything, from clip length per game, to trigger buttons (on PC, Mouse, or Controller), whether you want to record clips or full sessions, and more.

Now — once you start any game that has a preset active, any settings you change will automatically save into the preset

🥂 Some of the things this will allow you to do:

• Use clipping on one game, but record the full session with bookmarks on another
• Turn recording off for games where you don’t need it individually, as opposed to having to turn Medal on/off entirely.
• Record in high quality for gamers where you can support it, and lower quality where you can’t.
• Customize the clip length to the game length — for example, 20 minutes for Valorant, and 15 seconds for Rocket League.
